The series of prints above are sourced from a photographic archive of natural anomalies, which frequently capture the coexistence of nature and urban environments. The prints are a gestural iteration of these images, a re-inscription of motion, mimicries of the traces found in nature.
The printing process allows the material to dictate its own shape, revealing the dialogue between the material agency and the artists creative intervention. This approach provides insight into both the material process and the visual interpretation of the work.
